Thank you for your replies.
I have never thought about not taking a cheat day. The weeks seem to go by so quickly that before I know it there is another cheat day just around the corner! I think that the 6 days of exercise and good eating are now a norm for me so although I really look forward to my day off I also think it comes too soon.
From both of your replies I have decided that on the free day, if I have a snack and start feeling guilty, I will just not finish it. That way I can look back and say I had something that I initially wanted but threw it away when the 'want' stopped. Also, if I just don't need the junk that day, I'll just skip it and hopefully that will help me to enjoy the next free day all the more.
I'm sure it's all trial and error.
I'm well in to week 6 and have now lost 13 Ibs so far and I'm as fit as I was when I was at school. Only 6 Ibs to go to reach my goal but I think I will stretch that to a few extra Ibs so that I'll be in tip top shape.
Thanks again guys, it's really appreciated.
