End of my 9th week

Too bad I lost my before BFL picture so we can't compare but I know I have gained muscle. So here are two pictures of my progress. I honestly don't know how I feel about it. After working so hard for 9 weeks, I look at the pictures and just think they are ok (not good or bad, just different). But I'll keep up the program indefinitely 'cause it's a great distraction from everything else in life.

I just started learning French since about 3 weeks ago. I am definitely going through another midlife crisis. - at least I am doing something productive.

I think you're making great progress. It's sooo much harder to show significant progress when you don't have much to lose. I struggle with this constantly, so it's a frustration near and dear to me... but let me just say that you're doing great. Keep plugging along and you'll continue to make great progress. It's definitely showing!

Thanks Chris for the encouragement. I am still struggling with the huge arms I now possess. Yuck.

I am glad you understand where I have started - I was already fit and not overweight. So I have to remember I won't see big changes.

Oh crap, it's now week 11 maybe? I lost count but I feel I have undid all the hard work from the previous weeks. Why? Darn McD ice Mocha. There was a special deal where you get a free sandwich of your choice if you buy an ice mocha. I think we have spend around $200 in one month at McD. Disgusting. But I'll try again and the good part is beneath the fat, there's muscles and I'll look great once I am able to eat well again.

I might look into meditation specifically for eating well. Or is it hypnosis? Because I already know what's healthy and what's not. It's self control I lack.

On a side note, anyone has been or is addicted to chat sites, forums? I am and I need help but it's such a new problem that I can't seem to find any answers. I check a particular chat forum countless times a day when I should be working (
