General Body for Life question

Ok, so first of all... I didn't know where to post this question so I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. Also, the search on this site never seems to work for me... i don't know if it's because i use firefox or what??

Anyway, so this is going to sound really stupid but I have a general question about BFL. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right spot on their site or maybe I'm just completely missing the obvious but here it is....

I read how you have to turn in your packet w/in 15 days of the end of your challenge. Can you do more than one challenge and qualify for the contest? I mean for me, I'm obviously going to have to do 2 challenges to reach my goal. So if that's the case, do i turn in the packet twice? Once before the first challenge ends and another one before the second challenge ends? Or do i just turn in one packet at the end of your second challenge?

Good question. Please post if you find the answer. You might have to call BFL directly.

actually, I just read the rules the other day. You can do back to back challenges. If you are doing 2 challenges, you submit 2 different packages, one at the end of each challenge. The rule are on bodyforlife.com/Challenges/Enter Challenge. You have log in your information and it will give you a PDF of the packet. all you questions will be answered there. Also, you might not think so, but you can make your goal in 1 challenge. I did it 7 yrs ago and lost 30 lbs. Good luck poision.

Poison,

I just was looking at your profile and it is amazing how similar our stories and height are. I am at 170 right now and the weight definately has an effect on confidence and insecurities. It totally effects every aspect of life. Looking back to being 140lbs. (size 7). I had totally different attitute. I felt like I could so anything and that feeling is very addictive, especially the attention from the weight loss.
Just so you know, you should be EXTREMELY proud that you already lost so much weight. That is awesome!!! Truly, if you stick with bfl it will work. I will add this piece of advice....Years ago my goal was 125. When I started the program, I didnt know anything about fitness and exercise, or about muscle and fat - i was 38% body fat when I started and got down to 20%bf. Which means if you do the math, I would have to lose fat and MUSCLE to get to my goal weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. My goal this time around is 135lbs and 15% bf. Keep your goal, but you may want to re-evalute at the end of 12 weeks. I did and realized that 125 was toooo small for the body I really wanted, which is toned and athletic looking. Good luck and feel free to chat any time.

April,
It's always good when someone REALLY understands where you're coming from. As far as the goal, I'm not sure what the "perfect weight" for me would be. I think your advice is good about re-evaluating it after 12 weeks because I've never been thin and fit so I randomly selected a number based on my height and body type. I honestly don't even know what my body fat percentage goal is. I am happy with what i've lost, but i really really hope bfl is the answer to losing the rest. sounds like you've had great results in the past, i'm sure you'll be at your goal weight in no time! definitely keep me posted on your challenge!

Sammy..hey girl..

I saw your update on weight..5/5, and I wanted to mention "consolidation.."

You've lost 9 lbs in 57 days..Your body wants to equalize the new weight..and get used to it...some people call that a plateau but I don't..
Adjusting to the new calorie intake, the exercise and fitness program take a little time and it's not a good idea to try to horse it too much...just eat clean, do the workouts and don't fret about it...

Let's be happy with the progress which is very good...and hang tight..

I know a lot of people who would be delighted with what you've done..

We're honkin' on down the old "one O one"..( I'm hammering arms for 8 weeks)
