How did everyone's first week go? Mine was good until the weekend. I had to travel over the weekend, so i never got a chance to do my cardio. I'm not too upset about it though, since im really not trying to lose any body fat...just gain muscle mass.

I had a good 1st week/weekend. I was worried b/c I really cheated on my cheat day!!! But I didnt gain any of the weight I lost in the 1st week which is 4lbs so far!!! I am so happy and I feel great! I am very sore though...but that is a good thing. Good luck with week 2!!!!! ![]()

I started on the 11th too! It is going well for me. I had a great first week, but the last few days have been difficult food-wise. It was my husband's 30th birthday and so we went out to eat. I didn't know how hard it is to find BFL friendly foods at restaurants! I am super excited to weigh myself for the first time at the end of this week. How is everything going for you? I wonder when we will start to see results?

Congrats on starting the challenge with the rest of us! I do agree that it is hard to find BFL foods when eating out. I am just trying to stay clear of eating out for now b/c thats all we did before I started cooking. I have read that for women it takes about 7 weeks to really see a difference but I already feel better. I am sure you do too! Good Luck and K.I.T. ![]()

Welcome and congratulations for taking on the challenge. I had to eat out all weekend, and it definately isnt easy. I have found out that most restaraunts have "healthy" portions on their menus. I went to Applebees and had grilled Tilapia on steamed rice w/ steamed broccoli on the side. It was almost more healthy than what i eat at home! Almost every menu will have grilled chicken of some sort on it, that is usually a safe choice.

Subway is a decent place to grab some fast food. The club on honey wheat bread is on the less than 6g of fat menu and it is only about 350 calories. This is the highest protein sandwich on the lowfat menu and the honey wheat is their highest protein bread.
Don't eat these all the time, but they are a fine addition when on the road.

I think we are a great support system too!!! How is everyone doing on the 2nd week so far! Hopefully keeping strong. My husband and I are leaving for the Arnorld Classic in Columbus Ohio next Thursday. I am excited b/c I know it will make me even more motivated seeing all of these bodybuilders walking around. I also saw on the BFL website that some of the champions are going to be there too (they are having their own expo the same weekend). I will take lots of pics and post those up for you guys to see if you are interested.
