New members not getting activation emails, and why Comcast sucks

This post is really just for new members who can't post because their account is inactive.

Here are some reasons:

1. The most common reason is that your activation email was sent to your email junk/bulk mail/spam folder so you will have to look for it there.

2. If you're using Comcast as your email client use someone else instead to sign up because they suck big time. They aren't even sending stuff to spam folders and they're not letting their users see some emails at all, removing the choice from them to decide what is junk and what is not. If you send a query to us via a comcast email address there's no way for us to reply because the emails don't get through. Even hotmail is better, ewww!
