Shakes with Soy Milk

So, I was trying shakes with water (a bit tasteless, but ok), but decided that skim milk just made better tasting shakes (especially if I added crushed ice. Ok, so I'm having a milk shake).

But then, the work fridge was out of skim milk and instead of using whole milk or water, I decided to give Soy Milk a shot.

It tastes much better, in my opinion, than with milk. Why has no one told me that? I see nowhere that soy milk was an option to make those shakes, just water or skim milk

Now whenever I can, I use soy milk to make my shakes. Can anyone think of a reason to not do it?

Body builders have been very much anti-soy for a long time. This stems from the estrogen content in soy and this being the opposite of what building muscle requires (testosterone). But recent research has shown that soy protein is highly effective for building muscle and it is very quick digesting (much like whey).

We will probably see more soy recommendations coming along shortly, and perhaps even on the mixing instructions.

I still think it's best to limit your soy protein intake though... especially if you are male. (1-2 servings per day at most) and assuming you aren't vegetarian (who doesn't have many other options).
