I once explained to someone who didn't like soy milk because it "didn't taste right" that it tastes much better if you approach it without any preconceived notions of what it "should" taste like (dairy milk) and instead enjoy it for its own flavor.
Anyway, I think the protein pancakes are the same way. They're better if you're not expecting them to completely mimic flour-based pancakes. (And yes, it's normal that they are mushy on the inside. Don't worry, it's not raw pancake batter! ) I'm not as into them as Andy, but I like to have them occasionally as a nice change of pace from my meatier meals. |

Here are a bunch of homemade protein bar recipes. Some are a little involved and I haven't tried them all, but thought I'd pass them along. I don't make many things like this when doing BFL just because, for me, it's way too easy to overindulge when they're around.
