Meal plan (Again)

I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, but can someone tell me if this looks okay? I just need reassurance that I'm on the right track. I'm 5'9, 247 (at the beginning of the challenge, I haven't weighed myself again yet) and looking to lose fat. I'm not sure about my bf %. Here was my meal plan yesterday

Breakfast - 1% Cottage cheese mixed with nonfat apple yogurt
Snack - Half a chicken breast and half a cup of sweet potatoes w/ olive oil and pepper
Lunch - Myoplex light bar
Snack - Cup of BFL chili (with 99% lean turkey) and half a cup of sweet potatoes w/ olive oil and pepper
Dinner - Myoplex light bar
Before bed - Handful of almonds

The food looks okay to me. I am wonderiing though how you're going to know if you lost any fat if you don't know how much you have now? If that's your goal I think you should make it a priority to find out so you can track progress.

Yes, I'm with Maljonic. Skin fold calipers aren't too expensive. You can get those Accu-measure ones for between $5-$10. You menu looks good. You should lose weight with this... might be good to have some cottage cheese with those nuts before bed.
