About Creatine
I've been reading a few articles about the reasons behind cycling creatine use and I wanted to hear what your opinions on what I should do.
I'm concerned about building up a tolerance to the supplement, therefore, losing its effectiveness. I've been on creatine supplements for 15 weeks now. I didnt know that cycling was important until today..... What i'm taking: Cell Mass and NO Xplode by BSN I dont notice that my muscle mass has platued. I feel that I'm still making gains and that i still get a good pumps. I dont notice a tolerance or ineffectiveness of what i've been taking...nor do i feel i need more.

I haven't tried using it myself, though reading about it again now I might give it a try. You're right about the clycling though, it is important for better effect and I think your body prefers it that way for its own health too.

From what I've read, the biggest issue with too much creatine for too long is cramping. I tend to cycle about 8 weeks on 3-4 weeks off. I will notice a big improvement when I go back on it, but I don't really notice any loss when I cycle off. It's kinda fun actually.

I'm even more convinced now by you saying it's kind of fun! I've also read it increases your IQ, which would be great for me because I have a couple of inventions in mind that I'm not quite clever enough at the moment to get working.

I think there are differing opinions on the subject, but have a look at this BBC NEWS | Health | Creatine 'boosts brain power'

Creatine is a protein derivative found in muscle tissue. It is often taken as a workout supplement because once combined with a phosphate it produces ATP. In other words, it produces energy, especially energy for muscle contraction. It helps you get the extra rep, the extra push, the extra little "Umph" you need when you fail on a set. It also helps with recovery.
It occurs naturally in meat since it's a component of muscle tissue.
