bodybuilder is barely worth listening to
6 or 7 days of healthy eating per week ?

in a couple of weeks im starting a 12 week programm designed for mass gain.

i know bfl recommneds a free but bfl is basically for beginners. beginners pack on so much muscle so fast and easily that they can get away with a free

what if you are not a beginner and you find it hard to pack on muscle. what if you not only need to gain lots of new muscle but you also need to replace muscle that youve already lost?

basically im looking to pack on as much muscle as possible in just 12 weeks and i dont gain muscle that easily. do you think eating healthy only 6 days per week will effect my gains in a negative way ?
do you think im best eating healthy 7 days per week ?

i have no problems with sticking to a healthy diet 7 days per week. i dont even enjoy free days. ideally id like to only eat 6 days per week cos i can save wuite a bit of money on supplements over the course of 12 weeks

any one have any veiws on this ?

You should still take the "free day". But your strategy will change. Let's say your daily caloric goals are 3000. On your cheat day you'll aim for more, something like 3500 or 4000. Most of these calories should come from carbs too (once the 1-2 g protein per lb is covered). Time to pig out on pizza, pancakes, and pasta. You can use this opportunity to eat some saturated fat (for testosterone) too.

Keep in mind that the cheat day also provides incentive for eating clean the rest of the week. It can keep you eating healthy when you'd otherwise want to "cheat". The other nice thing about doing a mass gain plan is there's not much penalty for cheating during the week either. Of course you want to put on the right kind of weight and you'll need the bulk of your calories to be from "good" sources, but to a certain extent calories are calories. Eat a cookie with lunch, ice cream with dinner, etc. It won't hurt.

Hope this helps.
