Youtube Body for Life and Training Videos etc
I thought it might be helpful for us to collect useful workout videos that we find on Youtube or, if you're uber brave, upload your own videos to Youtube and show them here. I'm guessing not many people will do the latter anyway though as I'm sure most gyms wont like you walking about with a video camera.
Anyways, some new code has been added that will allow you to post Youtube videos and view them here in the posts. When you watch a video on Youtube the address is always the same at the start: Code:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= So in the posting options you should see a little red Tube button, click that and enter your video number and you should end up with something like this in your post after you hit submit:

I had a go at doing the dumbell curls both at once like he does it today, usually do them one at a time, and I think I might keep doing it that way.

A demonstration of Laying Leg Curls, something I never actually tried though I do a very similar exercise sitting up and the other way around.

Yeah my gym doesn't have the laying version either. I recently tried it though, while on vacation. I think the laying version is harder than the seated leg curls.
I like this video thread.

It is harder and I hate it because my butt sticks out 12ft in the air! :-p I prefer the seated leg curls.

lying leg curls are king! try pointing your toes when you do em. gives the upper calf muscle a kick in the groin too!

I'm going to have a look around the gym tomorrow to see if they have a machine for this, there might be one in a section I never look at.
This is identical to the machine I normally use, also one of my proudest moments with this machine was when some teenagers went on it after me and one said "My God, what monster's been on this, I can't even get that weight to move?" ![]()
