What do you do to prepare for the week?
Just wondering how much you guys do to prepare for the upcoming week? I know as I get more into the program, lots of stuff will become much more second-nature for me. I've found that I've really been doing a lot the last few days just to make sure I have everything ready and no excuse to not succeed! Here are a few things I've done:
1. Cleaned up my old weight area and have it ready to go 2. Made a huge batch of chili and froze in separate batches 3. Made 3 mini lasagnas and froze 4. cooked a big batch of brown rice 5. Bought new whey because all I had were MRP and I'd prefer to add a banana 6. Cleaned up 10lbs of boneless chicken breast (only $1.77lb this week!), marinated 2 lbs and froze the rest in 4lb batches. 7. Good bread was buy one get one free this weekend, so I stocked up and froze 3 loaves. That's about all I can think of. I really need to get my photos and measurements taken and I'll be off and running on the right foot. What do you all do to get ready for the upcoming week? I know lots of my things are beginner steps... |

i then do my shopping after that so ive got all the food i need for the week ahead. i also shop on a wednesday or thursday too for fruit as if i buy some on sunday then its gone off by friday so i need to buy more before friday. in my timetable i write down everything i do e.g: 7am - warm up, 7.15 am - weights session, 8.15am - post workout snack, 8.30 - am change weights so they are ready for lower body workout on wednesday, 8.45 am - shower, 9.15 am - work, 5pm - tea, 5.30 pm - free time, 11pm - shower, 11.30pm - before bed snack, 11.45pm - bed etc....... after my workouts i always fill in my next sheet for my next workout of that body part e.g upper or lower. i make the nessesary adjustments e.g add 1kg to bench press etc.... and fill in the sheet and leave it on my work bench. then when ive finished the next workout i change the weights so they are ready for the next one. i record in my time table what time ill do my workouts. every night i use the b4life eating sheet so i know wot ill be eating tomora. i make sure ive got everything ready if i need to take food out of the house with me e.g ill make a pack lunch or put some powder in a shaker the night before |
