And so it begins.... C2
Well, I'm on C2 now. Today is day three. I was gonna start Monday but it was a holiday you know. I can't believe how much and how quickly I gained a lot of weight back in just a three week layoff from BFL. I had gotten down to 166 and as of Tuesday morning I was at 177. Today my starting weight was 175.2. I'm drinking a ton of water to flush out the sodium and any other toxins I abused my body with during those three weeks. I'm sure some of my weight gain was definitely water weight but I'm sure some of it is added fat. I was eating horrible. And now I feel horrible about not jumping back into BFL right after vacation. It's amazing the how much different 10 pounds will make you look and feel about yourself. My self esteem has gone right out the window. I was beginning to feel so good about myself and I let that go. It's so easy to get into a bad habit of eating. I am glad to be back on BFL and will endeavour to work it as hard as I can. And when this 12 weeks is up I will try be as vigilant as I can to maintain(or start another session.
I will get a body fat percentage this weekend.

Hey man, at least you're back in action and willing. Respect.
One thing I learnt in my week off before starting C2 is that the Eating for Life method is just that, for life! I ate quite clean in my week off with a few cheats here and there, and i didnt pick up weight at all. So i think its quite easy to maintain a certain level. I dont think it helps we just work out like crazy and eat well for 12 weeks and then stuff up all our hard work over a few weeks after finishing BFL! What I am aiming for is to get to my goals and then go on maintenance. Still eat 6 times a day and eat clean into the future......but then if i feel like a coke or packet of crisps or a freeking burger.....i can have one! Good luck blue, you can do it man! Dont let the setback get you down, you did very well up until the end of the first challenge, find the motivation again, get your momentum back and give it horns! Im right behind you, started C2 on monday and feeling psyched to get ripped! See you at the finish line!

Hey blue, welcome back to reality. Glad to hear you're back in the ring! That weight will come off soon.

yeah I hope so Chris. I'm already down 2-3 pounds in a couple of days and I'm hoping I'll flush out some more water weight in the next few days.
Marc, I have my motivation back. I'm mad as hell and I'm gonna do something about it. Part of the problem was that when I quit eating well I also really slacked on the exercise part too. Had I maintained exercise during my eating binges I would have probably been ok. It's no ones fault but my own...

Udate - 4 pounds of excess weight flushed out as of today.
Too bad I can't keep up this rate for the whole 12 weeks.

Hey, blue. Good luck. Looking forward to hearing your progress. i know what you mean, tho. I hit my first goal, as you may remember of 199, and somehow went back above that (oh, I know how, just have a hard time believing I let it happen). Not far but enough to irritate the crap out of myself. So now it's a goal again and then I'll shoot for my next goal.

well, i failed with the start of C2. I got busy then was out of town for business for a week and ate horrible and didn't exercise. I ended up weighing more after that trip than I did before I started C1
![]() I'm so pissed off at myself...This week I've been hitting it hard and again in 5 days I have flushed out about 4 pounds of water weight. I'm hoping to flush out a few more... I'm not going to waiver this time. Got the wife back on board so that will help with my motivation. Wish me luck... no wait, wish me perserverance!!
