How long?
So how long does it take to flush excess water from sodium retension? I have been drinking a ton of water to try and flush it out. I am down a couple of pounds from a couple of days ago. I'm hoping a few more pounds will get flushed away in the coming weeks.

It shouldn't take too long... generally the 4-8lbs I gain from my free days is gone two or three days later.
Keep in mind it's not all sodium, it's also having more glycogen (stored carbohydrates) which has water molecules bound to it. You'll drop some water weight through burning that off with a few days of a caloric deficit. |
