It seems the women take a lot longer to see the physical results - it may be lack of muscle and the length of time it takes to develop from very little to a modest amount - it seems the women show up around week 8 - and then can really start to show as early as week 5. But who knows.

I think men do have an easier time losing it than women. My wife and I watch the biggest loser on NBC. The woman almost always lose weight slower than the men. This doesn't mean women can't lose the weight, a woman won the show last year. But it does require you to "keep the faith". Women should keep at it, keep moving in the right direction, and the results WILL come.

I think Statona hit the mark with his comment on muscle. With eating six times a day, most people will take in more calories than they were previously. If you don't stay regimented about lifting and developing muscle to boost metabolism, I think you can probably even gain weight. It's my observation that most men would rather work out and skip dieting while most women would rather diet and skip workouts. You have to be consistent with both for bfl to work.
