How much muscle can you gain?

Just curious...I can't keep away from the scale. Today I checked and...I still weigh exactly the same. I'm getting so strong that I must be still losing fat and gaining muscle at an even ratio...that's great and all...but I need to weigh less. There's no measure of fitness that says a 5'6" guy should weight over 200 lbs. Much less 227.

Is it possible that I'm just eating too much?

Should I just be patient?

Should I pick a day to audit calories?

How long have you been at it? Some people need time for their metabolisms to sorta "reset". The weight will probably come off more in the last couple weeks than in the previous weeks to date. Keep at it for now.

Oh yeah, definitely keep at it for now. 30 days is awesome! Be proud of yourself! But it's also still early in the change process. The will be much more to come. Rock on!

Well, I don't have too much longer for challenge 1 unfortunately with the mouth surgery coming up on the 24th. Then again, I'm sure to eat less in the time after that. Of course, I won't be able to workout for weeks either. GRUMBLE.
