Interesting Interview
Thanksgiving night we were driving home from my in-laws house at 1 am and there was an interview on After Midnight (a national country program) with LeAnn Rimes. We seen her on the Country Music Awards a week or so ago and she is very thin and muscular now. She used to be a little chubby. On After Midnight she was talking about her transformation and basically said she did it by following a BFL type program. She didn't mention BFL but did said she does it through intense workouts which requires her to fuel her body with plenty of high energy foods like; chicken, fish, fruits, veggies, and whole wheat breads and pastas, along with brown rice. The interesting part was that she said it took her 2 and a half years to reach her goal and that she has to eat a lot of food. She also says that a very important part of her program is giving herself a free day once a week.
Just thougth I'd share this with everyone. |

"Results not typical" is a phrase I don't commonly see associated with BFL. It seems we will always see results of some type. We may not all look like champions after 1 challenge, but we will reach our goals if we keep at it.
Thanks for sharing Ro! |

Thanks for sharing Roshanda. I'll have to do a search for some before & after pics of her... It's good to know that even stars have to do what we do. They aren't "born" to look good, and they have to work even harder, being in the public eye. It's also good to know that it wasn't a quick fix and it took a while to reach her goals.

Chris: You bring up a good point about some things taking time. I am close to finishing my first challenge and I have definitely made changes but not NEARLY what I expected or hoped. I have had the strangest reaction to it, tho...
"Lil, you could have eaten cleaner. You could have worked a little harder. You have to change this and this and this for the next challenge!" Instead of whining about "this is crap and doesn't work," I am making tweaks and already preparing for my next one. Now *that's* a change for me, mentally. |

That is the champion way to think about it. Nice comments, and congratulations on your transformation. (I found similar changes too)

I am with you Lil. I didn't do as good as I would have liked to but I am giving it more time. I really do want to do this for life.
I looked for photos of her but didn't find any in between photos of her. She sort of fell out of the spotlight for about 5 years. She came back thin but she was only 15 when she first got famous. |

Which I'm surprised it took her 2 1/2 years. Generally celebrities have personal chefs to ensure they eat perfectly, the finest of Hollywood trainers to ensure they stick to the program, and usually enough free time to work on a regiment.
Unlike the rest of us with 40 hour work schedules, families and not enough time to cook perfectly portioned meals and grind 2-3 hours a day in the gym. I've seen everyday people soar through this program in a fraction of the time she did. Who knows. |

I found this LeAnn Rimes diet and workout . There was another article as well where she says she didn't lose any weight, she just got in shape. I searched leann rimes diet in google and looked at the first couple of hits.
