Workout two days in a row

I was wondering if its ok to have upper body wokout on monday and lower body workout on tuesday and then have two cardio days on wednesday and thursday. I can't really see a problem but what do you guys think? I'm basically trying to avoid injury or something like that because I'm having horseback riding on wednesday and I don't want to bring my muscles to a high point in the morning (workout) and then go ride a horse with my already sore and sensitive lower body muscles. I think I would do more damage than good (not to mention pain)

That sounds fine to me. IMO Occasionally switching things up isn't going to hurt you.

I think that would be fine as well. However, keep in mind your upper body will be sore and that may have some impact on your lower body workout (ie: lifting the barbell for dead-lifts, etc)
