ShellinTunis is on the road to a better life
one exercise per muscle group?

I started BFL 9 days ago (my husband dropped out after one day. Being French, he cannot cope without his baguette, cheese and wine!)
I think I have the weight training all wrong. It was taking me nearly 2 hours, what with the waiting in between and everything. Then this morning I thought "maybe you only do one exercise per muscle group, not two" because otherwise I don't know how I will ever get to do it in 46'. I feel a bit dumb, sorry I am very new to all this.
Also I've had trouble packing in the protein. How much do I need per day? (stats: female, 5'3, 58 kilos - what's that in pounds about 128?) Is one egg minus yoke enough for breakfast? I bought whey protein but feel I really only need half portion of a shake for a "meal".
On a +ve note, feeling great and determined despite ogling my son's peanut butter ... When I started I was nudging 60 kilos, goal weight is 54.

Do you have the book, it's all in there? You know you do only upper body training one day, then cardio the next day then lower body training the next?

Most people take a little longer than the book says to fit it all in, but not usually that much longer.

Thanks Maljonic, I have re-read the book now. I guess I was overwhelmed at the start. Didn't realise you only did the second exercise for the last 12 reps and I was doing all reps for both exercises. A double workout practically. Der! Oh well, no harm done. Into my third week now woo-hoo.

That's great, 3 weeks is a good way in. Good luck.
