Is this ok?
Hey. i've just started the bode-for-life program. The cardio is pretty good, definitley can feel that. However, i used to run for 53 minutes and lift lot of weights (alternating lower and upper) at the same time as the every cardio. Sat and Sun being my rest days. So now when following the cardio, upper, cardio, lower pattern, i feel a bit incomplete. If i feel like i could keep going... should I? Or is the suggested workout routine to be followed exactly for the best results? (Addittional point: My goal is mainly abs.)
Thanks for any advice virgogirl |

Hi virgogirl..
You should train in ways that make you feel good, sleep well, eat well, and be happy on a daily basis...there are no hard and fast rules about that..the main thing is to DO IT... Honk on sweet girl.. gnash

There's a balance between what's possible and what should be done. In some cases it might be better to save your energy for heavier weights, while in others, the extra cardio will help burn fat more quickly. Gnash is right, there's no real strict rules... at least not on this board.
Cheers! |
