New 2008 BFL Challenge~!
Good evening everyone! It's so great to run across a BFL forum that is actually active!
I've done BFL once when I was 20 and then again at 24 - and I hope this is the last time I do it (I hope to do this permanently!). I joined here in hopes to share stories and successes and gain back the information (it's been too long!) about the plan! ![]()

It's not that new, but there's a lot of new traffic lately. A bunch of us started our challenges at the same time (1/7/08) so we are all in it together. I'm in my third challenge, some are in #2, and a few in #1, but it's a united cheering section to keep each other motivated. We'll cheer you on too!

Sunshine: I'll try to make this quick...for your sake. In the late 90's I did my first BFL challenge to GREAT GREAT GREAT results. After that, I didn't keep the "for life" part and tried over and over and over for 5 years and couldn't complete even one challenge. Last Sept. I tried again and I have successfully completed 1 challenge, lost weight through the holidays, and started Challenge 2 Jan 7th. So I'm in week 3 right now.
I am proud I didn't give up on myself and have stopped beating myself up for 5 years of not taking myself seriously. Now I am proud and happy and feeling strong! Biggest thing I've learned: "Progress not perfection." |

lillyo - Thank you for your motivation - I agree with you! I too was bashing myself for the last 4 years that I wasted it away - but it's never too late to start! I am so happy to have met you guys!

I also have done the challenge before (years ago) with awsome results. Like you, I'm determined to do this for life as well. Have you set up your blog?
