I missed Day 2's workout (Plyometrics) due to being sick, but I did it yesterday. It was pretty intense, and I had to stop and do jumping jacks or walk around the house if I couldn't keep up with them. I HATE being sick!!!
I guess I'm going to skip Day 3's workout so I can kind of stay on track, and do Day 4 as normal (Yoga). I've hurt my knee, so will have to take it easy for the next week or so too.
I can tell a difference in my arms, biceps, but not much else yet. Not...

My legs are sore as hell, and it hurts when I sit and stand, but it's a goooood hurt, and I LOVE it. The workouts are kick ass, and I can't wait to keep up with those people!

For me, I think having someone standing there telling me how to do it, showing me how to do it, and doing...

We got our P90X stuff yesterday. I've read through 1/2 of the Fitness booklet. Plan on reading the rest tonight, and starting on the Nutrition booklet tomorrow. From what I can tell, these are going to be very hard workouts.
The system is 3 weeks of vigorous workouts, working all muscle groups, with a recovery week of workouts. Then you change it up on the 5th week, and again on the 9th week.
I'm setting 3 goals of losing at least 10 pounds at the end of each 4...

Each person has their own setpoint. It explains why some people weigh the same thing year after year, despite all the dieting and exercising they do.
A person's setpoint works like a thermostat for body fat, maintaining constant body weight, because it "knows" at all times the amount of adipose tissue stored in the fat cells.
If body weight decreases, as in dieting, the setpoint senses this change and triggers a weight-regulating mechanism (WRM) in the body...
