New technogym equipment
So the other day I went to the gym and they've gone and removed every single piece iof equipment in the place, totally gutted it, and replaced it with new Technogym equipment instead. It was quite a shock to the system, it looks like someone's idea of what a gym might look like in the future, from a 1980's sci fi viewpoint. It was funny though watching the shock on people's faces as they came bounding in, only to be presented with a set from Battlestar Galactica - especially the older members.
The most difficult, and fun part actually, has been finding the equivalent exercises to what I was doing before.. and even when you do they're all subtly different because the machines are 'ergonomically' designed to make the movements a little better for you. I'm looking forward to having slightly different types of soreness in my muscles over the next couple weeks anyway. ![]()
