I screwed up

Well I @#$%ed up and had a really bad week. I only walked twice, no lifting or any other cardio. I ate like crap all week for no real reason I can figure out. I'm going to eat like crap today and tomorrow and then I am going to put it behind me. I'm going to start fresh Tuesday and undo the damage that I have done. So that I don't get frustated right out of the gate, I don't plan on weighing myself until week 12, 3 weeks from now.

I understand.......I fell off the wagon (so to speak) for either the 8th or 9th week, but was able get right back into the swing of things...........We all have that rough time, but you just have to move on and do better next week. Good luck in the upcoming week.

I feel your pain and frustration. I have been there and I know how miserable you must feel. I have to say though that I am disappointed to see that despite your mistake you are choosing to continue down that path for two days after for the sake of "perfection". You are seeing your challenge in week blocks which is okay except when then you decide to use it as an excuse to continue bad patterns until you start a fresh week. Every day matters. Your transformation is taking place every minute of your eighty four days.

Fix the eating right now the best you can even if that means it won't be perfect. Then start planning out your meals for the next days so you can get the resources to do it up to your standard. LET GO OF THE ALL OR NOTHING APPROACH!!! I cannot stress how destructive it is and it is rampant in Body for Life transformations.

If you are having obstacles, tell us. Perhaps we can share how we have dealt with them. I was once 255 pounds and now I am eighty pounds lighter. I know a thing or two about what you are going through.

I appreciate the response and it might have helped 2 days ago. Getting it now, makes a lot of what you say irrelevant. I preferred waiting and starting with a "clean" slate instead of torturing myself on Labor Day. I hope that eight pounds you lost is a typo, and you meant eighty lbs. If it's not a typo you don't have a clue what I'm going through. You're half my age and half my size, so please don't tell me that you've walked a mile in my size 17 shoes. Again, I appreciate the response, but not the lecture.

Just because you got the information late for this particular situation doesn't mean that the overall advice is irrelevant. You need to take that and apply towards future adversity because it will creep up.

You are twice my age and twice my size. Do you really think your experience is so unique from every one else on here that we couldn't possibly understand? What do your reasons that have to do with anything? We are 99.9% percent genetically the same. If you those reasons that you have listed as excuses for not transforming then that is exactly what will happen. You will not transform because of your limited beliefs.

Limited beliefs are the reason why so many people fail at so many things. You need to realize that you can do this. You can have the transformation you want and which I hope you get.

Excuses? Limited Beliefs? Who the Hell are you to judge me? You might might want to get off your soap box, because you are coming off as an arrogant prick. I didn't give excuses or reasons only facts. I know that putting things behind me and starting fresh is what will work best for me. So you can shove your condescending attitude.

Misty Blue, thanks for your kind words and motivation.

I can understand how you would feel like you are being judged but it is not what I am doing. It is my belief that the purpose of the forum is to provide feedback. You are making mistakes that I and others have made and I am pointing them out for the benefit of your transformation.

I see only sheer anxiety and frustration coming from you. Your name calling isn't productive. It is the cheap escape weaker people use when they can't handle the truth. Be a stronger person for your own benefit.

Do you hear how pompous you come off? You say that I am weak and frustrated. Why, Because I don't agree with you? I think I have a pretty good handle on the situation. I've addressed my mistake and I am making strides to correct it. You need to take your consenting attitude and go play in traffic. Don't go away mad, just go away.

I did it too. I have been doing really well. Part way through week 7 and into week 8 I fell off my wagon. I I did a week of almost no exercise, and a few days in there was pretty liberal eating. But looking back, it was not as bad as I once was.

I hit a plateau after week 4. I really didnt see any weight loss although, it was a good weight loss until then. Almost 20 pounds so I was not too worried. But it still got to me a little. I have gotten back on the wagon and going well again this week. I feel much better again too. I found going back and re reading my goals for the whole BFL challenge helped a lot. You know....what Bill suggests in his book...reading them everyday!

Anyway, we can all fall down....and we can all get back up!

I am continuing on!

My words for you are not meant to be jabs as you are clearly to trying to do to me. I have to let you know, they aren't working. Your attitude is just awful. Perhaps at a later time you will come back and realize how out of control you were in the thread. I really wish you the best in your transformation.

As am I my friend, as am I. Like Bill says in the book, nothing stands still. You are either moving forward or you are moving backwards. For a week I was moving backwards. Now and for the rest of the year I will be moving forward. I will then address the situation again and make plans for a productive 2010.

Wow! How do you find hats big enough to fit that head of yours. So according to you, if I don't completely agree with you, then I'm wrong. Don't you have some cult to attend to somewhere and by all means drink the koolaid.
