Workout gloves for women

I am a bit intimidated by all the heavy weight lifters, however, I do find that I may need to get weightlifting gloves even if I lift 30 lbs (60lbs total of free weights). Do you think I should just go by the gloves and get over my embarrassment or is it something I simply can't wear 'cause I don't see anyone wearing them.

By all means, get yourself some gloves...there is nothing sexy about callouses on a chick's palms...

True. I just have to get pass the whole: I don't belong in the weight room mentality. It's pretty intimidating. Oh right, let me find some nice pink ones.

Bad azz huh? I am sure you are one cool gal. Ok so I still have not bought a pair of gloves because I am still intimidated in the weight room. I'll give myself another month to just get comfortable in there among all the muscle men.

I think of my gloves like my shoes. Working out in bare feet would be problematic if I drop a plate on myself... so I don't go shoe-less... ok maybe this analogy doesn't work... point is, get the gloves
